Shri RamNavami-The birth anniversary of lord Rama

Hindu devotees across the country celebrated the festival of Ram Navami,the birth anniversary of Hindhu Lord maryada proushotam shri Ram Chandra,which also make end of the nine day long fast of Navaratri.A huge Ram Navami Sobha yatra is taken out across all over the country. Shri Ram Navmi is celebrated in all across the country with ful of joy and happiness.On this day people perform fast,and worship lord Ram. As Ram Navami is a festival that marked as a birthday of lord ram,the son of King Dashrath.It was a joyous occassion in Ayodhya where lord ram take birth on king dashrath house after completion of yag(chating of sacred words in front of fire).It was like a dream come true for the king as the lack of heir had trouble him sorely for many years. As we all know according to hindu sacred books shri Ramchandra is the Avtar of supreme god Lord vishnu.The story of lord Ram as told in the great hindu epic Ramayana written by tulsidas,is one of the most Indians know irrespective of caste,creed and religion.LOrd Ram is the legendry figure of all that is good and true,the man who vanquished the demon Ravana.As by killig Ravana Lord Ram told this world that truth will always win.Lord Ram is not just a hero ,but has been given the status of agod by hindus.The Ramnavmi is celebrated with full of joy and excitement on the ninth day after the new moon sukal Paksh,which falls some times in the month of april. On this day Bhajans Praising the Lord Rama,his loyal brother Lakshman and his devoted wife are sung.On this occassion people perform puja of lord Ram with ful devotion,by sprinkling the water,roli on god and then showering handfuls of rice on dieties,on the end ganga jal is sprinkled all over the places in house,to make it pure of all bad evilS,and parsad is distributed all among family members.
